Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name or date of birth into a search widget, the information is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its results. This site does not keep or log the search words you submit.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email the site, the message is kept so the operator can respond. It stays within the organization and is not shared outside it unless a legal obligation requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server may receive technical details about the visit, including:
- The IP address assigned to the device
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on each
- The referring site, if one was present
- The time and date of each page view
Cookies and Analytics
The site uses cookies, which are small files saved on a device. They help show which pages draw visits and where visitors leave. Analytics services help combine traffic data into broad measures. Browser settings can block cookies, though some parts of the site may work differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
Information is used to operate and improve the site. Uses include:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Passing a visitor’s query to the selected search partner
- Measuring which pages help readers and which need revision
- Finding technical problems and repairing them
- Showing ads that may match general interests
No Warrant Data on File
This website does not host, build, maintain, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant-record collection. It offers general routing information about Menard County offices, such as the Sheriff’s Office, Justice of the Peace, Municipal Court, and clerk offices. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or files about other people. The operator is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
For a government-held warrant record, ask the office that keeps it. Texas Public Information Act requests are governed by Government Code Chapter 552 and must be directed to the appropriate governmental body. This site is not the custodian of a county court or sheriff record.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes may be operated by outside companies. Information entered into a partner’s tool is handled under that partner’s privacy notice, not this one. Each provider sets its own retention and sharing practices, which this site does not control. Review the provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may take a visitor to a Texas court, sheriff, state system, legal aid resource, or commercial search tool. Once off this site, the destination’s own privacy terms apply. Read them before sharing information.
Some advertising partners may track activity across websites to choose ads. That tracking takes place on the partner’s systems, not through this website’s own record store.
Menard County pages also link to tools with different purposes. The JP’s GovRec route accepts fees, and the County Clerk’s LGS link is for general official records; neither is described as a warrant search. The sheriff links to VINELink for custody information. Opening one of those services takes the visitor to its own provider or government page, where the destination’s privacy terms govern the resulting activity. A court record request sent by mail or email also goes to the office that holds the file, not to this website.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. The following service types may receive some information:
- Search providers that process a query entered into their widget
- Analytics providers measuring site use and performance
- Advertising networks that place ads on pages
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when valid legal process requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard security steps are used to protect information collected by the site. Internet systems cannot be guaranteed perfectly secure, however. The operator works to safeguard data but cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe a minor has sent information to the site, the operator will remove it after learning about it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on applicable law and the information held, a visitor may ask to see information about them, correct an error, request deletion, or opt out of certain processing. Send a request that identifies the information and a reply address. For a record held by a Menard County office, the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552, governs the public-record request process; send that request to the agency holding the record, not to this private site.
- Ask what visitor information is held
- Request correction of information that is wrong
- Ask for deletion of information the site can remove
- Request to opt out of certain data processing
Updates to This Policy
The privacy terms may be revised. When they change, the current version and its effective date will appear here. Review this page again if you want to see how information practices may have changed.
